Painé Cuadrelli is a music producer, sound designer and dj. In his productions and dj sets his multiple inspirations (jazz, tango, funk, hip hop, afro-beat, film-music) are re-formulated with an electronic twist in a mix o rhythms and styles for dancing and listening. From dub to techno, new and classic funk, hip hop, house, new disco and more.

As producer he released two albums with the Temposphere Records label (Simplemente Asì, Spontaneous), “Music For The Middle Of The Night” and “Lost and Found Volume 1” (Compl8 Records) aside from the long playing Hey Presto! with his band I Maniaci Dei Dischi, “Soslo” and “Adagio” as Soslo with Sergio Messina, and remixes for acts like Quantic (Tru-Thoughts, Uk), Protassov (Switchstance, Ger), Casino Royale (It), The Units (Usa). His productions were included compilations in Australia, Germany, Japan, Poland, Portugal.

His eclectic style brings him to play dj sets and live shows in clubs in his city Milano (Plastic, Tunnel, Cox 18, Magazzini Generali), all over Italy (La Palma, Casa Del Jazz, Maffia, Arezzo Wave, Mercati Generali), and France (Batofar Paris, Marquise Lyon), Canada, UK, Austria, Usa, Argentina. He collaborated with italian radios RadioRai, Lifegate, Popolare and international broadcasters like RBMA Radio, Eurosonic, Radio 3 (Spain), Superfly Fm and Fm4 (Austria), Tilos (Hungary), Totally Radio (Uk).

As sound designer produces soundtracks and installations for Art events and Exhibitions (National Museum of Singapore, Museion Bolzano, Urban Edge Show, Arte Impropria, Triennale di Milano), Design Shows and Prizes (Fritz Hansen, Elle Decor Award, Campana/Edra, Milano design week, Mont Blanc Mapa Award, Mini Design Awards), Fashion events and videos (Persol, Gucci, Mila Schon, Vogue, Calvin Klein, Fornarina, Zegna, Ferrè, Diesel, Liu-Jo, Valentino, Pitti Uomo) and commercials (Corriere della Sera, Nokia, Breil, Mtv, Levi’s).

Painé collaborates with visual artists and directors producing sountracks for short films and documentaries selected in festivals like Berlinale 2011, Sonar Cinema, Monter/Sampler, Centre Pompidou Paris, Annecy, Torino Film Festival, tv (Artè, Sky Tv, Rai Sat), and magazine (Stash Canada). Is coordinator and teacher at the Sound Design Course of Milan’s Istituto Europeo di Design.

With more than 15 years of experience, he’s one of Italy’s reference points concerning the new sounds of electronic music, ound and other media. He’s been the artistic director of music nights (Summit, Breathless, Dig Deep Milan and Rome), conferences along doing music and artistic consulting for events. Produces and developes academic project involving sound (UovoKids, Museo della Scienza e Tecnologia, Milan) and collaborates with educational projects (PiemonteGroove Young Talents) and electronic arts festivals (Kernel, Elita).

Painé is always producing new material aside from soundtracks and sound design for films, events and exhibitions.
