Leon Vynehall is a British producer and DJ. He produces house, deep house and downtempo. His album Music for the Uninvited was released to critical acclaim in March 2014.
After becoming a resident DJ at Akaakaroar, a Brighton club, Vynehall released several EP’s on labels such as Well Rounded Housing Project and Aus. His debut full-length album, Music for the Uninvited, garnered widespread praise and landed on several year-end lists in publications such as NPR Music, XLR8R, and The Washington Post.
His second album, Rojus, which was released in 2016, also received positive reviews. Vynehall now resides in the outskirts of Leicester. Vynehall’s music combines the “percussive energy of contemporary House music” with “rich harmonies of sample-centric producers”. Vynehall lists Aphex Twin, Afrika Bambaataa, Man Parrish and DJ Shadow as some of his major influences.
